This campaign was created for the U.S. pharma market, combining live-action production with advanced post-production techniques, CGI and AI to achieve a highly stylized and symbolic visual language.
The process began with a very precise casting, selecting Asian talents with real familiarity in handling a katana. Both male and female models were chosen not only for their look, but for their ability to perform movements with authenticity. Costumes were custom-designed, inspired by traditional samurai garments, reinforcing the narrative and visual integrity.
The shoot took place in our studio, supported by a martial arts consultant who guided the talents to ensure accurate poses and realistic motion. In parallel, motion footage was captured to support the development of dynamic compositions.
The environment was later built in 3D, creating a dojo that seamlessly integrates with the live-action footage. The sword itself — a key visual element — was entirely developed through a combination of 3D and post-production, designed as a feather-based structure to bring a sense of lightness, transformation, and symbolism.
The project followed a hybrid production approach, integrating photography, film, 3D, Photoshop, and post-production workflows. Artificial Intelligence was also incorporated as part of this pipeline, used as a supporting tool and seamlessly blended into the overall process.
The final result merges multiple techniques into a cohesive visual, creating a striking and immersive experience.
