About the project

Mercedes 300 SL

Born from competition, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL evolved directly from the legendary W194, carrying the DNA of Le Mans, Carrera Panamericana, and Nürburgring victories into one of the greatest sports cars ever built.

Introduced in 1954, the 300 SL Gullwing brought racing DNA to the road through its lightweight spaceframe, advanced engineering, and timeless aerodynamic design.

Styleframes

This project explores the relationship between architecture and one of the most iconic automotive designs ever created. Rather than recreating a showroom environment, the goal was to place the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL inside a restrained concrete space where light, shadow, and composition become the primary visual elements.

Every frame was crafted to reveal the sculptural beauty of the 300 SL, with a strong focus on authentic materials, subtle imperfections, and a photographic atmosphere that feels captured rather than rendered.
